Immersing yourself and your company with social media (a.k.a. changing the traditional culture to a more open and transparent dialogue with customers) will result in much greater gains than expected. Seeing &amp;#39;Social Media&amp;#39; as a marketing tool alone without enabling and empowering your workforce will be weeded out anyhow as the target audiences have a great knack to assess credibility.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With discussions permanently going around and around about ROI, I would question those who think about this so much to consider how they would measure the ROI on open face to face discussions that you may only get the opportunity to have at formal events.
